It's a wrap. After interviewing acoustic bassist Todd Nicholson and again William Parker, Billy Bang doc production complete

After shooting since November 2010, production is complete on the documentary about jazz violinist Billy Bang titled, Billy Bang: Long Over Due. Last interviews were with former Billy Bang acoustic bassist Todd Nicholson just back in NYC after over a year in Japan and again William Parker. Their words continued the tapestry of love, admiration, and knowledge of "Da Bang" that was huge in illustrating the mission set forth when Billy asked me to make this documentary, which is that he wanted this film to be like no other documentary. Bang wanted this film to be about how musicians work together from a mental and skill aspect, as one to make musical performances unique to the audiences who love the music and show their love and respect everytime they show up at concerts or buy cd's or collect albums. Unless, for some unforsaken opportunity to enhance this film, there will be no other interviews added. Archive collection od video and photos will continue for a few more weeks before the editing process begins.
