Save America Production Halted, Billy Bang Documentary In Production

Due to creative differences between RocOpera and director Oscar Sanders, the production of the film Save America was halted last year. Not one to stay still, Mr Sanders began production on jazz violinist Billy Bang's documentary, titled BILLY BANG: LONG OVERDUE. This film will chronicle the music and the working style of an internationally known, critically acclaimed violinist. Also interviews with musicians and personalities that know Billy Bang first hand and reveal what makes this extremely talented, award winning recording artist tick. Production began in November of 2010 in Patterson, New Jersey at the Patterson Public Library. Oscar Sanders will direct and DP with principle still photograpy by Dimitry Man, and Edward Robinson doing sound/boom and shotgun. There is no timetable for the completion of this film.
