At Columbia University"s radio station WKCR, acoustic bassist John Lindberg was interviewed for the Billy Bang documentary Billy Bang: Long Over Due. The interview was riveting and reminiscent of a time when improvisational music in the west village was in it's infancy. One third of The String Trio of New York, along with James Emery and Billy Bang, John was engaging and quite helpful in bridging the gap in the Billy Bang musical history as well as bowing techniques privy to string instruments.
